MOCON - The modular board system
Stylish printed matter for the office sector is what one is used to from SIGEL. The modular board system Mocon is a novelty that we are happy to congratulate.
The modular board system can be used multifunctionally depending on the need for use - for individual use of the product solutions or collective addition within the system. At the center of the collection are the different, portable boards - they are the canvas for creative thoughts.
The board system can be used spontaneously, independent of space and time, in the sense of a dynamic room design depending on the requirements of the respective application scenarios and thus offers extensively writable and pinnable work surfaces for a collaborative working atmosphere: personal sketches, notes and ideas can be permanently recorded and create a permanent visualization.
The basis of the modular board system, which is used either stationary or portable, are the different fixations for desk, wall or mobile stand in the room. The board variants are available frameless in different formats and can be used as whiteboard, acoustic board or acrylic board.
The technical implementation of the stands (Desk Stand, Wall Rail, Mobil Stand) comes from BUSSE, the design idea from the Hamburg design office Besau-Marguerre.de.
We paid special attention to the invisible assembly of the individual parts, because the simple design should not be disturbed by necessary technology.
A clever combination of manufacturing processes and finite element analysis, where appropriate, enable series production that meets the quantity requirements and minimizes the use of materials.
Tilt stability also played an important role in the design to ensure the necessary safety in the daily working environment.
